Acute abdominal pain in the elderly is a disease characterized by acute abdominal pain, which is sudden and intense. The clinical manifestations of patients vary from person to person: 1. Different lesions correspond to pain in different parts of the abdomen, for example, pain in the upper and middle abdomen for stomach and duodenum, pain in the upper right abdomen for cholecystitis and liver abscess, and pain in the lower right abdomen for acute appendicitis; 2. Intestinal colic can be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation and increased bowel sounds; 3. Biliary colic is often accompanied by jaundice and fever, and Murphys’ sign can be palpated in the liver area; 4. Renal colic is often accompanied by frequent urination, urinary urgency and urine containing protein and red blood cells.
