The symptoms of olivopontocerebellar atrophy are as follows: 1. cerebellar ataxia: the most prominent symptom, manifested by weakness of the lower limbs, inability to make fine movements in both upper limbs, dizziness, dysarthria, intermittent speech, dysphagia, choking on water, hypochondriacal symptoms, some may appear tongue muscle or facial muscle bundle tremor; 2. oculomotor disorders; 3. autonomic dysfunction: such as upright hypotension, flaccid bladder, sexual dysfunction and sweating disorders; 4. pyramidal bundle signs: often manifested by increased muscle tone, hyperactive tendon reflexes, positive pathological signs; 5. extrapyramidal manifestations: the appearance of mask face, resting tremor.
